Who can become a member of GAA?
Membership is open to Ghanaians aged 18 and above who legally reside in Arizona. Non-Ghanaians who wish to associate with and support the Ghanaian community are welcome to join us.
How do I become a member?
To become a member, you must complete a membership registration form, pay a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $50, and agree to abide by the GAA Constitution and By-Laws.
What are the benefits of joining GAA?

Does GAA provide support during difficult times?
Yes. GAA provides support during bereavement, hospitalization, job loss, and other hardships, in accordance with the Association’s Constitution and By-Laws.

How often does GAA meet?
General meetings are held monthly via zoom or in person. Additional meetings include Executive Board meetings, Board of Advisors meetings, and special or emergency meetings when necessary.
Is GAA affiliated with any political or religious organization?
No. GAA is strictly non-political, non-religious, and non-ethnic. It does not promote or support any political party, religious body, or ethnic group.
How is GAA governed?
GAA is governed by an elected Executive Board and supported by a Board of Advisors. Officers are elected every two years, and the Association operates under its adopted Constitution and By-Laws.
What types of events does GAA organize?
GAA organizes cultural celebrations, educational seminars, health screenings, social gatherings, fundraising events, and community outreach programs throughout the year.
